Terms of Service

1. The agreement

These terms govern your use of this community platform, operated by [PENDING — operator to supply] of [PENDING — operator to supply]. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

The community you join is run by an organisation that licenses this platform. That organisation may impose its own additional rules and its own terms on its members; where its terms conflict with these on a matter between you and it, its terms govern that matter.

2. Accounts

• You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, and at least 16, to hold an account.
• The information you give when registering must be accurate, and you must keep it current.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.
• Accounts are personal. Do not share one, and do not create one on behalf of someone else without their authority.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Break the law, or infringe anyone’s intellectual property or privacy.
• Post material that is harassing, hateful, threatening, defamatory, sexually exploitative of minors, or that incites violence.
• Upload malware, attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, database or system, probe or load-test the service without written permission, or circumvent any access control, rate limit or entitlement check.
• Scrape, bulk-export or resell other members’ personal data.
• Impersonate another person or organisation, or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Use the AI assistant to generate material you could not lawfully post yourself.

Community administrators may set additional rules for their community, and may enforce them.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you post. You grant the operator and the organisation running your community a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt for display, and transmit your content — solely to operate the service and only for as long as needed to do so.

You are responsible for having the rights to what you post. Content may be removed where it breaches these terms, a community’s rules, or the law.

5. AI features

Where your community enables the AI assistant, your prompts and the community content used as context are sent to third-party inference providers listed at /legal/subprocessors.

Generated output can be wrong. It is not professional advice of any kind, it is not verified by us, and you remain responsible for anything you do with it or publish from it.

6. Fees and payment

Paid plans, paid memberships and ticketed events are charged at the price displayed at the time of purchase, through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically for successive periods until cancelled, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for.

Except where a non-excludable consumer right requires otherwise, fees already paid are non-refundable. Prices may change on notice, effective from the next renewal.

7. Availability

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. No service-level commitment applies unless one is set out in a separate written agreement. Maintenance, upgrades and third-party failures can interrupt access.

8. Suspension and termination

Your account may be suspended or terminated for a breach of these terms, for conduct that puts the service or its members at risk, or where required by law. You may close your account at any time from your account settings.

A community administrator may remove you from their community; that is a decision of the organisation running it, not of the operator.

9. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, and except for liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, for lost profits, or for loss of data. Aggregate liability arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

10. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. The version and effective date shown at the top of this page identify the current text. Material changes will be notified in the product or by email before they take effect; continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [PENDING — operator to supply], and the courts of that jurisdiction have non-exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from them.
